What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and developing software and firmware for autonomous UAV systems, ground stations, and test fixtures
Improving control algorithms, integrating command-and-control systems, and optimizing feedback loops
Contributing to system architecture and participating in log analysis post-flight
Driving maturity in software processes from early concept to deployment
Collaborating with engineers across disciplines to push new features and fixes
Why You’ll Be Successful
Hold a degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field
Bring depth in embedded systems and breadth across autonomous systems, control theory, or robotics software
Fluent in feedback control systems, ROS, or reinforcement learning for robotics
Proven track record of contributing to complex projects from early concept through release
Demonstrate maturity in solving real-world software challenges across multiple environments
Comfortable working in high‑tempo R&D environments with shifting priorities
Familiar with computer vision sensors, COTS flight controllers, and software version control systems like GIT
Position is onsite in Sanford, FL, with an amazing team and a laid‑back environment.
Must be fully authorized to work in the United States and be qualified to hold a DoD clearance.
