FDOT Certified Electrician for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
Responsibilities
Proficient in the installation of typical power ITS components: enclosed transformers, service disconnects, circuit breakers, load centers, panelboards, meter sockets.
Proficient in the installation of electrical raceways: LTFMC, GRC, EMT, PVC.
Able to review, understand and follow basic electrical diagrams.
Able to perform basic troubleshooting of both wiring and hardware components.
Able to diagnose common electrical problems such as failed fuses, overloaded circuits, poor connections, faulty wiring and incorrect hardware installation.
Able to perform cable locating and components inventory.
Full health and pension benefits from Local Union.

Valid Driver’s License Required.
Willing to work in the elements year round.
