Senior Advanced DSP Engineer

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $65.99-$70.99/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)

Senior Advanced Digital Signal Processing Engineer job in Fort Wayne, Indiana with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace and Defense company. In this job you will analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for RF-based systems.

Responsibilities

Design and test anti-jam systems utilizing spatial beamforming and beam nulling techniques

Develop and implement GNSS and AltNav anti-jam algorithms, with emphasis on multi-channel signal processing

Analyze, design, develop, and test digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for RF applications

Focus on statistical signal processing, multi-rate signal processing, and RF effects mitigation

Conduct algorithm development for RF systems including signal parameter measurement, detection and estimation theory, and random process analysis

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of job-related experience

Experience designing, implementing, and testing anti-jam systems with spatial beamforming-beam nulling

Experience developing a multi-channel anti jam algorithm from a mathematical perspective

AJ implementation of GNSS and AltNav preferred

Knowledge of STAP, SFAP, or similar AJ algorithms

Statistical Signal Processing, Multi-rate Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing for mitigating/processing RF effects

Algorithm development for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory

Signal processing architecture

Algorithm development (RF Systems)

Systems requirements analysis

Performance verification and validation

Fixed point model conversion for hardware implementation

Software/hardware partitioning and trades

Hardware/software implementation collaboration

Hands‑on system performance verification and validation in the lab
