Senior Advanced Digital Signal Processing Systems Engineer
As a
Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineer
for Advanced Electronics Systems Engineering, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and modeling algorithms (RF Systems), verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems. The position provides an opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports national defense services. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various GDMS and client technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Statistical Signal Processing, Multi-rate Signal Processing, DSP for mitigating/processing RF effects. Exceptional candidates have work experience of algorithm development for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory in addition to the below:
Signal processing architecture
Algorithm development (RF Systems)
Systems requirements analysis
Performance verification and validation
Fixed point model conversion for hardware implementation
Software/hardware partitioning and trades
Hardware/software implementation collaboration
Hands-on system performance verification and validation in the lab
What sets you apart
Experience designing, implementing, and testing anti-jam systems with spatial beamforming-beam nulling. AJ implementation of GNSS and AltNav preferred.
Knowledge of STAP, SFAP, or similar AJ algorithms. Must have experience developing a multi-channel anti jam algorithm from a mathematical perspective.
Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
Education Requirements : Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements : Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Workplace Options : This position has a Hybrid option. While on-site, you will be a part of the Ft. Wayne, Indiana team. Additionally, this position has the option to be based in either Colorado Springs, CO or Scottsdale, AZ.
