Job Title Analytical Chemist
Job Description Support, lead, and develop the Research and Development (R&D) team to create innovative new products. Engage in field testing, scale-up processes, and the development of new polymers, adhesives, epoxies, and other coatings.
Responsibilities
Lead and support the R&D team in creating new products.
Perform field testing and scale-up processes.
Develop new polymers, adhesives, epoxies, and other coatings.
Drive continuous improvement activities within the R&D department.
Manage product development projects and ensure timely delivery.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards in R&D for coatings and adhesives.
Essential Skills
Expertise in chemistry and analytical chemistry.
Proficiency in research and development processes.
Experience with scale-up, polymer chemistry, and epoxy.
Understanding of adhesives and raw material testing.
Experience in polymer synthesis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
5+ years of experience leading R&D teams.
Knowledge of regulatory standards for coatings and adhesives.
Work Environment The role requires working 100% onsite at the Westwood facility.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Westwood, Massachusetts.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year.
They have full vision, dental, health, and vacation. They have great benefits for medical leave as well.
