Assistant or Associate Professor, Computer Science (Multiple Positions) (T/TE) – University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. This is a tenure-track faculty search with multiple positions, including Assistant and Associate Professor roles. One position is collaborative with the Applied Math Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP) and is expected to focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Science. Other positions are open to all areas of Computer Science. The Department of Computer Science has a history of research accomplishments, software distribution, and external funding. It currently includes 20 tenure-track faculty and 11 teaching faculty, offering B.S. and B.A. degrees in Computer Science, and B.S. in Artificial Intelligence, along with M.S. and Ph.D. programs. Faculty research areas include algorithms, bioinformatics, compilers, computational geometry, data management, high-performance computing, human-computer interaction, machine learning, natural language processing, networks, programming languages, security, computer vision, and visualization. The department is part of the College of Science and collaborates with other departments such as Astronomy and Geosciences. The faculty member will develop and maintain a top-quality research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and perform service to the department, field, and wider community. Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field by the position start date. Preferred Qualifications
