Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all Hanes Dye and Finishing, Geo Components, and facility equipment across all operations. Troubleshoot deep electrical issues, quickly determine the problem, and perform repairs to the facility and machinery. Train new maintenance personnel, explain procedures, and maintain a high-quality standard through good preventative maintenance practices.

Duties

Respond promptly to calls with a sense of urgency to prevent downtime

Maintain commercial electrical components, both AC and DC, such as PLCs, panels, drives, breakers, sensors, motors, switches, relays, and control boards

Interpret and read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals

Wire panels, motor controls, install and program VFDs and HMIs

Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, identify hazards, defects, and perform necessary adjustments, repairs, or replacements

Advanced knowledge of PLCs, troubleshooting ladder logic and making coding changes

Install and repair camera/vision systems, safety systems, and other control devices

Understand boilers, steam handling, natural gas, and HVAC systems

Perform Lockout/Tagout and wear proper PPE

Multi-task in a high‑paced manufacturing environment

Maintain housekeeping, safe work practices, and arc flash safety

Assist with projects, commissioning new and used machinery, and completing PMs

Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager

Hours of Work

1st Shift – 7a‑3p

2nd Shift – 3p‑11p (may vary due to production requirements)

Requirements

Team player, willing to assist in other areas when necessary

Pneumatic and hydraulic experience required

Machine maintenance experience required

Advanced electrical expertise required

Facilities maintenance experience required

HVAC experience preferred

High School Diploma or GED

Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering/related field or Electrical License required

5 years of experience as Industrial Controls Technician required
