Essential Information
AMPI owns seven Midwest-based manufacturing plants producing cheese, butter, and powdered dairy products for foodservice, retail, and ingredients.
AMPI launched Dinner Bell Creamery brand and Co-op Crafted promise, reflecting long-standing dairy partnerships.

Responsibilities
Manage, mentor, and support production operations and employees.
Collaborate with maintenance to identify equipment issues and set day-to-day priorities.
Improve machine efficiency and manage work priorities and completion on shift.
Facilitate production expectations with plant personnel to meet daily and monthly goals.
Ensure processing equipment setups are completed within required timeframes to meet department expectations and productivity.
Establish training procedures and processes to improve job knowledge, including cross-training.
Provide daily updates to department managers and maintain effective communication with plant personnel.
Lead with a focus on safety; establish a zero-injury safety culture and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Address system performance issues and participate in the annual management review of the Food Safety and Quality system.
Identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information; work in group problem-solving and develop alternatives.
Qualifications / Requirements
Experience in production management and supervision preferred.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams including maintenance and plant personnel.
Strong leadership, communication, and training abilities.
Commitment to food safety and quality standards.
