Job Summary We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate complex infrastructure projects from pre-construction through completion and warranty phases. The Construction Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget, while upholding the highest quality and safety standards. This position supports the EPC or Program Manager in managing all construction phases, client relationships, and field execution activities for public and private infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all construction operations including safety, quality, schedule, and cost control for one or multiple projects.

Plan, schedule, and estimate projects while establishing key milestones and deliverables.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and professional representation.

Negotiate and manage prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.

Implement the Project Execution Plan, including construction quality, safety, subcontracting, and staffing plans.

Lead construction staffing, mobilization, and demobilization strategies across multiple disciplines.

Oversee permitting, risk reviews, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Direct and evaluate bidding, RFP, and contract award processes for subcontractors and suppliers.

Manage project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and performance reporting.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure deliverables meet project schedules and technical standards.

Oversee all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change management, and closeout packages.

Facilitate project safety and quality audits and participate in corrective action planning.

Supervise and mentor field staff, interns, coordinators, and assistant project managers.

Support commissioning and startup coordination, documentation turnover, and warranty management.

Ensure craft labor compliance, classification accuracy, and workforce training requirements.

Manage construction equipment resources and verify inventory sufficiency for project completion.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 7 years of project management experience in the construction industry.

Proven background in managing large-scale EPC or construction management projects.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).

Experience with cost control, scheduling, and document management software.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting in construction settings.

Ability to travel or work on-site as project requirements dictate.

Nice-to-Have Experience

Project experience in aviation, commercial, energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, transportation, or water infrastructure.

Familiarity with construction ERP systems and earned value management.

Prior field experience in multi-discipline project execution.
