Overview

Brembo North America, a world leader and innovator in the design and manufacturing of braking systems and components, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the work execution of all activities and assigned projects within the plant. They report to the Maintenance Manager for the efficient and effective use of department/shift manpower, materials, parts and other resources under their supervision. They are charged with developing journeyman and technicians into a well-trained, committed, and spirited maintenance team and providing equipment-related expertise and technical guidance to ensure proper work execution. Responsibilities

Direct all planned job packages for completeness and correctness, and assign priority of how work will be completed. Participate in daily maintenance meetings to discuss downtime and corrective actions based on plant needs. Coordinate maintenance efforts between shifts to achieve orderly and accurate changeover and quickly resolve downtime carryover issues; discuss long-term fixes to chronic issues. Manage personnel through evaluation, training, and communication. Maintain all work areas in a safe and orderly fashion according to plant and 5S standards. Guide shift to maintain CMMS information accuracy and effectiveness, including work orders, PM tasks, and detailed information as required. Engage in continuous improvement of PM systems to ensure job functions serve the proper purpose and reduce downtime. Ensure employees work safely, supporting and enforcing safety rules and guidelines. Organize shift and prioritize items based on the needs of the foundry. Assign work orders to technicians and ensure work is completed in a timely fashion. Coordinate with production supervisors and team leaders to ensure work is completed. Collaborate with engineers and the warehouse to ensure parts are effectively prepared for planned work. Support work organization and cost-reduction activities. Coordinate external companies, including contractors. Manage data detection and analysis related to plant operations with focus on damages and stops. Support spare parts warehouse management and planning. Cooperate with the Plant Safety and Environment Manager to monitor safety and environmental risks. Organize work and projects for maintenance shutdowns to avoid downtime. Lead or participate in root cause analysis or Kaizen events. Maintain uptime-focused documentation such as downtime logs and work order paperwork, ensuring completeness for items worked on during the shift. Qualifications

Education Journeyman’s card in general maintenance, machine repair, electrical, millwright, or equivalent technical training. Previous leadership experience preferred. Technical Skills and Prior Experience Proficiency in foundry operation, setup, computer skills, manufacturing tooling design, lean concepts, experience in grinding, balancing, and drilling operations, automation, logic, mechanical design, and implementation. Knowledge of product design, material and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, manufacturing methods and quality control standards.
