$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for customer service; work flexibly in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive area performance; manage inventory and stock rotation; ensure quality and date controls; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area; model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics by applying related action plans and the Open Door Policy. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.
