Solutions Delivery Analyst IV - POS/Customer Facing
Join Ahold Delhaize USA as a Solutions Delivery Analyst IV, a lead technical subject‑matter expert for POS and customer‑facing systems.
Responsibilities
Lead technical SME for systems, services and applications across identified functional areas.
Coach and mentor functional area team members to increase overall technical knowledge.
Own mid‑to‑large projects: translate business requirements into agile stories or waterfall specifications; partner with Solution Engineers to build technical specifications and test cases; execute system integration testing and document results.
Drive third‑level technical support for selected applications and services, manage performance and service‑level expectations.
Lead root‑cause analysis on complex issues; recommend and implement improvements for system stability and performance.
Collaborate with Engineers, Product Teams and business groups to deliver configuration changes and operational enhancements.
Ensure operational stability of a 24/7/365 grocery environment through monitoring, issue resolution and off‑hour support when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of relevant technology experience, with demonstrable leadership or senior technical responsibility.
Experience guiding, training and onboarding team members on technology solutions.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to handle complex issues and trace problems to their source.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Agile experience and familiarity with Product/Platform operating models.
Experience leading teams or advancing technical capability in retail or grocery environments.
Experience with NCR Storeline/NCR POS EX (Emerald) systems or Connected Payments.
Experience with Self‑Checkout, Cash Office operations or Asset Protection Solutions.
Schedule & Compensation Hybrid work schedule: three in‑person days at one of our core locations (Salisbury, NC; Scarborough, ME; Carlisle, PA; Quincy, MA) and two remote days.
Salary ranges: MA: $106,480 - $159,720 NC/SC/PA: $92,640 - $138,960
