Sr. Quality Assurance Manager at Reily Foods Company. Our company has a passion for flavor and provides iconic foods and beverages for over 120 years. We are a 5th generation, family company based in New Orleans. Responsibilities

Develops a continuous improvement culture driving best practices to ensure the operation provides food-safe, quality products that meet or exceed product and customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Establishes, monitors and communicates key quality metrics to all employees. Communicates company and individual objectives with quality and sanitation employees; coaches and develops the team to achieve professional development goals. Provides training and coaches all employees in quality and continuous improvement to ensure a food-safe work environment. Assists in root cause problem analysis and implements corrective actions to operational issues. Leads, manages and conducts audits to ensure compliance: HACCP, GFSI, SQF, Internal Quality, Pest Control, Quality Holds and Sanitation; ensures complete and timely submission of required quality reports. Leads customer, regulatory and third-party audits/inspections. Manages the finished product retention process. Investigates, addresses and develops corrective action for internal and external customer quality complaints in a timely manner. Owns the creation and ensures compliance of all Quality Management Systems. Assists in the development and maintenance of SOPs, SSOPs and process control points. Reviews and studies existing equipment, systems and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality and reduce costs. Provides timely technical support to Marketing, Sales and R&D as requested. Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately. Supports and complies with GMPs; understands and follows emergency action plan. Supports food safety, quality, and legality; ensures the operation provides food-safe, quality products meeting or exceeding all specifications and regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related discipline 7 to 10+ years of progressive leadership in food or pharmaceutical operations preferred Solid understanding of QA/QA systems and all regulatory testing requirements Strong project management skills Demonstrated success delivering results in a continuous improvement environment (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.) Critical thinking and problem solving including analytical/root cause analysis skills Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with personnel, plant managers and senior level management Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or hours outside the normal work schedule Ability to travel occasionally as needed Reily Foods Company is an equal opportunity employer, Minorities/Females/Disability/Protected Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
