We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Metrology Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities

Perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using various metrology equipment. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of measurement tools and instruments. Interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for inspection purposes. Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated inspection systems. Document inspection results, maintain calibration records, and generate reports for quality assurance. Assist in Gage R&R studies and other measurement system analysis activities. Identify and report non-conforming products or measurement discrepancies to production and quality teams. Recommended Qualifications

Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Machining, Quality) or equivalent relevant experience. Strong proficiency in interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Hands‑on experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and optical measurement systems. Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and traceability. Experience with a wide range of precision measurement hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges). Bonus Qualifications

Experience programming CMMs (e.g., PC‑DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS) Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) for model interpretation Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements for calibration laboratories Job Titles That Should Apply
