We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of 6 months of Store Management experience. The Trainee collaborates with the Store Manager to lead store employees, recruit and develop talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations. This role may involve analysis of store financial statements to meet goals and adherence to asset protection programs. The role includes working with a range of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission and a performance-based bonus; actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities Of a Store Management Trainee

This is a representative list of duties and not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned. Facilitate a customer-centric environment and address customer issues promptly. Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent via company channels. Open/close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safety procedures. Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting. Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting. Maintain operating standards in line with FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to preserve value and integrity of loans. Complete assigned tasks and self-development training. Communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees. Maintain product knowledge. The Assistant Store Manager acts as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, etc.) in accordance with applicable laws. Demonstrated ability to supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May assist customers on exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum Age: 18; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to work in multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. Computer literate; proficient with POS systems and office machines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills and cash handling experience. The commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Manager Trainees have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit. Details provided during interview.
