Overview
BASIC PURPOSE: Coordinate material distribution for all shifts within the Molding Department Responsibilities
Utilize the production schedule to plan and stage material for all shifts within the Molding Department Interact with Warehouse to coordinate material movements and maintain inventory accuracy Maintain lot control of raw materials on the production floor Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot material handling equipment such as dryers, loaders, and concentrate feeders Perform material audits on production floor Proficient on forklift and promote safety Interact with material handlers, set-up technicians, process technicians and scheduling to meet production demands Must be able to work outside normal working hours, overtime or alternate shifts to accommodate production needs when required. Non-Essential Responsibilities
Clean Hoppers Empty runner bins Material returns Walk through - Top offs Pre-dry Materials Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education HS diploma or GED required Experience 5-10 years in plastic injection molding Skills Ability to communicate with internal customers. Good organizational skills. Ability to move materials / lifting / bending / reach overhead Ability to use equipment such as forklift, motorized pallet jack, hand tools
