Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is seeking candidates for an Executive Steward position.
Purpose:
As an Executive Steward, you will develop an environment that creates excitement for internal team members and external club members. You will report directly to the Culinary Director and assist the Executive Chefs. You will provide clerical support and maintain correspondence files, inventories, and budget files. Major Responsibilities:
Ensure outstanding service in a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every member and guest. Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests always. Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club employees. Follow the six tenets of Montana Hospitality. Daily Essential Job Functions:
Daily upkeep and organization of all F&B storage areas. Oversight of chemical and cleaning supplies. Ensuring all ware washing equipment is in working order and cleaned properly. Maintaining cleanliness in all back of the house areas. Assisting the Executive Chefs & Culinary Director upon request with special projects and initiatives. Oversees scheduling and ensures the stewarding team is staffed properly daily. Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversight of seasonal china, glass & silver Inventories. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Always maintain a clean and neat appearance. Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers, and directors. Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests always. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Independently initiates, follows-up on, and complete assignments as well as special projects. Knowledge of financial systems and proficiency with spreadsheet software. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills. At least 3+ years' experience in a Stewarding Leadership role or equivalent. Certificates & Licenses:
Valid State Driver’s License. Valid ServSafe Certification. Computer Skills:
Knowledge of and ability to operate Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to type 45 w.p.m. Language Ability:
Able to speak clearly and effectively with members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Work Environment:
