As a Survey Crew Chief, you'll be a leader and a key part of our survey field team, responsible for: Leading field operations directing a field crew on projects including topographic, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, as well as construction stakeouts. Operating and troubleshooting modern survey equipment with strong working knowledge of Trimble equipment (e.g., robotic total stations, GPS) and software. Data integrity and QA/QC: ensuring the accuracy of field data, maintaining detailed field notes, and on-site quality control. Team and project management: managing project schedules, coordinating with project managers and clients, and mentoring junior crew members. Problem-solving: applying experience to solve complex field challenges and adapting to changing project conditions. This role is ideal for a seasoned surveyor who is ready to lead a crew and contribute to a wide range of exciting and complex projects. Qualifications

8+ years' survey crew chief experience. Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors and/or Total Station. Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative. Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and instruments used in computer aided drafting. Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans, and regulations related to construction. Knowledge of industry-specific safe workplace principles and practices. Familiarity with column and bolt-pattern layout and as-built surveys. Familiar with detailed topographic surveys and ADA surveys. Ability to operate motorized equipment; ability to work outdoors under various field conditions. Valid driver\'s license.
