Roadway Engineer
in our Boise office to support roadway planning and design projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Collaborate with top transportation experts on projects including roundabouts, interchanges, design-build, multimodal, and highway design. This role involves mentoring junior staff and supporting a regional transportation team in a growing office that handles local and industry-leading projects nationwide. B&N Roadway Engineer Responsibilities
Design and prepare plans for local and state roadway projects in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. Lead transportation planning projects as a roadway lead. Mentor and train junior staff in plan development and design. Lead roadway projects and support project management efforts. Projects include rural highways, roundabouts, interchanges, bike and pedestrian infrastructure, and safety improvements. Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Engineer In Training (EIT) certification. Minimum of 3 years of related roadway experience. Experience leading design tasks or serving as a roadway design lead. Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MicroStation ORD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of learning virtual collaboration tools. Strong interest in transportation engineering and safety improvements.
