We are representing a commercial HVAC contractor hiring a full‑time Service Technician to handle installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across New Jersey. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem‑solving skills, and is comfortable managing multiple daily service calls independently. This is not an entry‑level role—applicants must have solid commercial HVAC experience (not residential‑only) and EPA certification. Key Responsibilities

Perform service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC/R systems across multiple job sites per day Diagnose issues and conduct performance tests using multimeters, gauges, and specialty tools Install and repair equipment including split systems, package units, ductless systems, VAVs, PTACs, chillers, and heat pumps Handle refrigerant recovery and charging per EPA guidelines Conduct preventative maintenance visits and promote ongoing service contracts to clients Maintain a clean, organized work area at all times and follow site safety protocols Document all work and communicate findings clearly with customers and office staff Participate in emergency on‑call service rotation (1x/month with additional pay and overtime) Qualifications

3–5 years of commercial HVAC service experience (residential‑only background not accepted) EPA certification required (Universal or Type I & II) Trade school or technical HVAC program Skilled in electrical testing, refrigerant diagnostics, control troubleshooting (Distech a plus) Ability to read electrical schematics and service manuals Familiarity with commercial units, chillers, compressors, piping, motors, and controls Must hold a valid NJ driver’s license and have clean driving record Willing to work overtime during peak seasons and participate in monthly on‑call rotation Punctual, professional, customer‑focused, and self‑motivated Compensation + Benefits
