Manufacturing Technician Core Finishing 2nd Shift (P)

A Snapshot of Your Day Will be using different tools such as files, ultrasonic machines, and sandpaper. As well as patching cores using an alumina-based material according to work instructions in the Gibsonton, Florda location.
Responsibilities
Operating the mercury system to clock hours and pull up work instructions meeting daily targets provided by team leads.
Understand how to operate downdraft booths to turn on lights and dust collection.
Inspecting parts and accurately using magnification tools to check for defects and to verify completion of work.
Using diamond bit tools, sandpapers to sand down die lines on the main body of the core and pneumatic air tools to remove tie bars on core.
Replenishing stations with the required items.
Using hand tools, including wrenches and Allen wrenches.
Qualifications
Evidence of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Knowledge of or interest in industrial machinery and ability to perform basic math functions using the metric system.
Ability to read Engineering instructions and mechanical aptitude.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
