HVAC Service Technician
Job Summary
Install new HVAC units, brazing, line sets, trimming refrigerant and adding charge; install piping systems including drain pipes, p‑traps, water lines, gas lines, valves and actuators; install coils, compressors, condensers, fans, motors, combustion equipment, and industrial air compressors; start up, test and commission RTU’s, air handlers, VAV’s, fan coil units, swamp coolers and other commercial HVAC equipment; test lines, components and connections for leaks, brazing and soldering parts; perform preventative maintenance such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters and oiling parts.

Job Specifications
5 years of experience maintaining similar type and size commercial equipment, and current Universal CFC certification.
Experience working with ladders, roofs, and attics.
Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Understanding of basic electrical circuits, disconnects, electric valves, low and high voltage wiring.
Strong oral and written communication.
Follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
Safe operation of hand tools, equipment and testing devices.
Valid driver’s license and maintaining a good driving record.
Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at extended heights.
Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection.
Compensation Range
$40 - $60 per hour.
