The
Quality Control Inspector
plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. The ideal individual should be quality-oriented and attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet quality product expectations. This is a full-time position based in
Medley, Florida .
Important Notice Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of landing gear components and assemblies
Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with OEM manuals, work instructions, and regulatory standards
Verify documentation including repair orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and traceability paperwork
Accurately record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken
Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment
Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections
Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
1-2 years Quality Control Inspector experience
Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills
Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with Quantum Software.
Previous experience with landing gear systems.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
