Job Title: Landing Gear Technician Location: Weston, Florida Company: Airflight Aerospace Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: Airflight Aerospace is a leading provider of aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, specializing in commercial and military aviation. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landing Gear Technician to join our growing team. Position Summary: The Landing Gear Technician is responsible for the inspection, disassembly, overhaul, repair, and reassembly of aircraft landing gear systems and components in accordance with OEM specifications, company procedures, and FAA/EASA regulations. Responsibilities
Perform complete teardown, inspection, and overhaul of landing gear assemblies and related components Document all work performed using appropriate maintenance records and software systems Utilize precision measurement tools to assess component wear and tolerances Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and drawings Operate specialized tools and equipment required for repair and reassembly Ensure compliance with all quality control, safety, and regulatory standards Collaborate with engineering and quality departments on repair decisions and improvement initiatives Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or A&P certification preferred 3+ years of experience in aircraft landing gear MRO or related component repair Familiarity with ATA Chapter 32 procedures and OEM repair manuals Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical data Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Experience
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant License C-130 and Beechcraft C-12 / KingAir Benefits
