Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator
to join our fast-paced, high-volume accounting team. This role is essential to ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling a large volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance. If you excel at managing deadlines, communicating with vendors, and keeping financial records in order, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: Process a high volume of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements Ensure proper coding, approvals, and documentation for all payables Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve discrepancies or payment issues promptly Assist with month-end close tasks related to accounts payable Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Support the accounting team with audits, reporting, and ad hoc projects as needed Identify and recommend opportunities to improve AP processes and systems Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role Knowledge of 3-way matching of invoice to PO and receiving slip Strong understanding of AP workflows, general ledger impact, and internal controls Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters, etc.) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team player with a problem-solving mindset Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Equal Employment Opportunity: Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
