H&R Block . Note: This role is not remote and requires in-person work. A flexible part-time schedule starts in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season; from January to April, the role transitions to full-time with evening and weekend hours as needed. Responsibilities

Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Serve as the front-line manager for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives for three offices. Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information to tax office associates, and create associate work schedules across all offices with accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. What you’ll bring to the team

Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions. Travel between offices and lead a multi-office team. Prepare tax returns as needed after proper training. Your Expertise

People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates. Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us
