Job Description:
The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a specific shift in a restaurant or retail establishment. They are responsible for ensuring that all employees are performing their duties correctly and efficiently, and that customers are satisfied with their experience. The Shift Manager is also responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the establishment is clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations of a specific shift in a restaurant or retail establishment Ensure that all employees are performing their duties correctly and efficiently Ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience Manage inventory and order supplies Ensure that the establishment is clean and well-maintained Train new employees and provide ongoing training to current employees Handle customer complaints and resolve issues Ensure that all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed Manage cash and credit card transactions Prepare reports and maintain records Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a supervisory role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
