A Day in the Life of a Restaurant General Manager
Control profitability by managing cash control/security procedures, inventory, labor, financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
Recruit, interview, and hire team members, shift managers, and assistant GMs.
Coach and train employees to operational excellence.
Complete inventory counts bi-weekly.
Maintain cleanliness and ensure an exceptional guest experience with friendliness and quality.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of experience as a General Manager in food service or retail, including Profit & Loss responsibility, preferably in QSR.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability to close at least two nights a week.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects; stand and walk constantly; operate restaurant equipment safely.

Additional Information Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. Starting ranges include:
Maryland: $53,000 - $58,000
New York: $55,000 - $60,000
New York City: $65,000 - $70,000
Cincinnati, OH: $54,000 - $58,000
