Join us as we help people all over the world thrive at work.**Purchasing Associate Buyer**Supports Buyer with merchandising and procurement of products that improve award experience, quality, and drive value for the client**Core Responsibilities:*** Plans inventory levels to ensure optimal inventory turn and on time delivery.* Owns communication with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule; ensures accuracy and maintenance of all materials.* Tracks and manages supplier performance and compliance with expectations or contractual terms. Liaise with suppliers on quality, price, shipping standards, terms and conditions.* Collaborates and discovers improvements that lead to more efficient purchasing processes and systems. Works well cross functionally and internationally with other teams.* Identifies market trends and manages brands and assortment. Uses data effectively to make decisions on sell through, market pricing, and merchandising assortment.* Obtains materials from suppliers at the best price consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
