Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and seasonal production; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; guides peers and assists customers according to company policies.
