Job Summary The Title III Project Assistant is a grant funded position that assists the Title III Project Coordinator with implementation and evaluation of the grant project. The incumbent should possess the skills and experience to assist in day-to-day activities of project development, organization, communication, and implementation.
Responsibilities
Assists the Title III Project Coordinator with implementation of GSC Title III projects.
Drafts and edits reports, assembles formative and summative data, and conducts research.
Collaborates with the GSC Title III management team.
Purchases, budgets, and ensures compliance with institutional regulations.
Develops and implements training for faculty, staff, and students.
Hires and supervises peer mentors in compliance with regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in higher education or a related academic discipline.
Knowledge of student development activities.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of best practices related to higher education retention and graduation.
Knowledge of student success technology.
Skill in Microsoft Office suite applications and related office technology.
Skill in written and oral communication.
Skill in time management, collaboration, and project organization.

Other Information Annual Salary: $28,992 ($13.93/hour). This is a non-exempt (hourly paid) position and includes a comprehensive benefits package: Health insurance, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), Life Insurance, Sick Leave, Vacation Leave, Parental Leave, Retirement, Employee discounts, Tuition reimbursement. This position is 100% in person.
