Overnight Forklift Operator 1 Summary The overnight forklift operator is responsible for providing daily support to operations of the Distribution department with awareness and knowledge of the following areas: receiving, shipping, warehouse, and inventory control. Utilize the ERP system to perform all necessary daily functions while adhering to GMP policies. The position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor on site Pompeian Headquarters at 4201 Pulaski Highway Baltimore, MD 21224.

Overnight Forklift Operator 1 Requirements

1-2 years of Forklift experience in a high-volume distribution environment a must

High school diploma

Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 11pm-7:30am. Tuesday 11pm-3:30am. Sunday 2pm-10:30pm. with flexibility to change hours if needed by the business

Ability to lift 25-50lbs regularly, stand for extended periods of time and perform strenuous activities in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer knowledge including word, excel, outlook and RF scanners

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

Constructive proactive communication

Positive team-oriented attitude

Excellent work record including tardiness and absenteeism record

Attention to detail provided with minimal error rate

Ability to comply and understand detailed GMP’s and SOP procedures

Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English

Ability to perform math with assistance of calculator

Flexibility to work various shifts if needed driven by the business

Overnight Forklift Operator 1 Pay And Benefits

The hourly rate is $20.22 with opportunities for advancement available

Position is eligible to receive overtime pay, and annual bonus

Overnight Forklift Operator 1 Responsibilities

Perform general warehouse processes (inbound put-away, receipts, picking/shipments, NCM and inventory control) ensuring compliance with GMP requirements

Warehouse activities to include:

Picking, staging of outbound orders

Delivery of internal orders to manufacturing

Receipt stock put-away of raw materials and finished goods

Assist with consolidation of bin locations

Identify and report all NCM issues

Inspect CHEP pallets for non-conformities

Safety Chain data submissions

Inventory Control activities include cycle counting

Complete ongoing employee health and safety awareness training, including submissions within the Safety 101 system

Complete training on job-related equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, wrapping machines)

Understanding of the working Environmental Sustainability and Governance (ESG) program to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company environmental goals

Continuing with ongoing training required to increase knowledge and understanding of the Warehouse

Adhere to GMP’s during the manufacturing process and own the quality of work of what is delivered with responsibility for notifying management of any deficiencies, process deviations, product defects and other related actions

Must follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries and must comply with safety policies of the company

Perform duties and tasks per Pompeian’s mission, sustainable goals and core values

All other duties and tasks assigned
