Ensuring high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the café

Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products

Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays

Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food

Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

Responsibilities and requirements

Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and adapts to the needs of the business.

Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future productions; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates and sanitizes equipment; understands product and layout execution.

Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality, and encourages others to use them.

Be an Owner: Drives performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; reduces waste; provides member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions and issues.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented way; helps identify and address roadblocks.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows Open Door Policy; applies these in business processes and practices.

Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; and adapts to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will match or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Minimum qualifications: 18 years of age or older. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.

Preferred qualifications: Food service experience; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) is a plus.
