What you’ll do

Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.

Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and mass productions; anticipates seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.

Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.

Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; handles payment types; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive and team-oriented style; helps identify roadblocks and supports training.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; uses Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes.

Completes work assignments by using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritizes tasks, meets deadlines, and communicates progress; seeks improvements and adapts to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include being 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications include Food Service and Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification
