Operations Manager | Royal Truck Body | Nashville, TN

What you’ll do: As the Operations Manager for Royal Truck Body (Aebi Schmidt Group Brands) based east of Nashville at our facility in Lebanon, TN, you will enjoy serving as the primary point of contact for the branch, overseeing all aspects of operations, including inside sales, outside sales, purchase order tracking, warranties, parts orders, reporting, and profit and loss management.
You’ll also be accountable for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, responding to concerns, maintaining customer relationships, handling warranty matters, and optimizing branch performance to meet and exceed organizational goals.
In addition, you will be pivotal in ensuring the branch’s success through demonstrating versatility and providing effective direction and strategic decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
Embrace the role of primary liaison between the branch, production teams, and corporation
Manage all aspects of Branch Operations
Deliver impeccable service to internal and external customers
Oversee inside sales and orders for parts, resolve warranty matters, and track purchase orders
Generate various reports, respond to customer concerns, and provide resolve [resolution] (note: wording retained from original)
Spearhead the drafting and creation of the Company’s and the Branch's operation plans
Ensure that all chassis releases and quotes are signed by the appropriate representatives
Partner with HR to distribute and ensure New Hire documents are processed
Relay employee/management concerns, as well as policy interpretation to Corporate HR for resolution
Adopt a proactive approach to upholding company policy
Provide suggestions and recommendations that align with organizational goals
Alert management to safety or other concerns
Initiate plans and processes aimed at minimizing manufacturing costs
Ensure the effective utilization of labor, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
Secure the attainment of business goals and production schedules
Guarantee that product standards will exceed customers' expectations
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or an equivalent amount of branch management experience in a similar manufacturing industry
10+ years of manufacturing experience in a high‑production environment
5+ years of managerial experience in a branch management capacity
Experience managing budgets and analyzing P&L statements
Skilled in inventory control and material planning
