About The Role This position is responsible for providing administrative support for a Management Team to include Senior Managing Directors/Managing Directors or Corporate Department Leaders. Candidate will perform all administrative and office services functions as needed and will require the ability to successfully balance assignments and a variety of tasks from multiple individuals. This role will be responsible for routine and non-routine tasks and will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize workload. Candidate may interact with Clients and other FTI leaders and will be required to maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality as would be expected of a professional in this role.

What You’ll Do General Administration

Create and maintain paper and electronic files

Maintain calendars, identifying conflicts and resolving promptly

Assist with staffing and staff tracking

Assist with pursuit tracking, conflict checks, and active engagement status

Maintain contact lists and update as needed

Coordinate all meeting and travel arrangements

Arrange office events, lunches, happy hours, outings

Assist with the preparation and organization of office documents, training materials, case studies, pitches, etc.

Manage the organization of case documents, including discovery, affidavits, deposition transcripts, etc.

Set‑up conference calls, including contacting/notifying participants

Compose, type and edit correspondence and reports

Demonstrate proficiency in using company templates for correspondence and presentations

Assist in prioritization of correspondence for Executives

Complete requests for deliveries and couriers

Financial Administration

Capture time and expense within applicable FTI systems such as Chrome River and Elite and apply to proper charge codes

Maintain reconciliation of Amex statements as required by Executives

Assist with the collection of billing information, invoice creation and collection

Run Unit4 reports (WIPs)

Technology Application

Create documents, reports, spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Create presentations in PowerPoint

Assist in research projects by efficiently conducting searches of the Intranet/Internet and provide information in summary form

Demonstrate proficiencies with firm specific technologies e.g. Unit4, Carpe Diem, Chrome River, Concur, SharePoint, Salesforce specific to Department or Segment

Assist with the management of database and user permissions

What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications

5+ years of administrative support experience required

Fundamental knowledge of the consulting industry and its customary practices desired

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years college preferred

Proactive and initiates projects, accepting of new assignments and challenges

Manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines

Capacity to multi-task, prioritize work load and effectively manage time

Lead by example regarding efficient work habits and professional behavior

Ability to work in fast‑paced, deadline driven environment

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

Work effectively as part of a team and lead a team when required, yet be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Perform all tasks with attention to detail and review for accuracy.

Maintain courteous, professional manner in person and on the phone.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
