Job Duties

Project Management

Experience with various product management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and Hybrid.

Define and document project scope, objectives, and desired outcomes.

Prepare estimated timelines based on scope.

Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.

Take initiative and work independently; highly motivated.

Pharma/Pharma Data experience is a plus.

Team Management

Managing cross-matrix teams for project execution.

Evaluate project performance.

Day-to-Day Operations

Oversee day-to-day project activities.

Communicate internally and externally.

Assess risks and involve stakeholders early if any roadblocks.

Project Closure

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Facilitate project closure.

Review and update inventory of standard procedure documents.

Create a consolidated project/initiatives roadmap with upcoming projects and milestones across all areas of PDG – MDM, CPM, IDW/ODS, and Governance.

Build a centralized PDG SharePoint site to facilitate communication, post metric reports, and provide key documents.

Explore and build a demand intake form (ex: DNEXUS) for PDG team; create processes, approval flows, and documentation.

Documentation

Modify manual approvals/confirmations handled via email to automated processes.

Prepare onboarding documentation (PDG team focused) and internal overview; include stakeholders and system overview.

Consent guide documentation for various types of consent.

Conduct weekly status meetings on standard and ad‑hoc projects; monitor milestones, highlight risks, maintain risk log, communicate alerts.

Prepare monthly communication newsletter for business and share with leadership and stakeholders.

Additional action items from Deloitte workshop (e.g., building training docs).

Skills

Pharmaceutical Experience

Knowledge of pharmaceutical business processes in IT and data governance.

Project management lead experience in pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical data, e.g., IQVIA, Veeva Compass, & Symphony (a plus).

Strategic Initiatives

Work autonomously and seek advice when necessary.

Experience managing cross-functional projects and influencing without authority.

Manage multiple workstreams in high‑pressure settings.

Guide teams toward project goals.

Communication

Effectively communicate with higher levels of management.

Strong communication skills for conveying clear messages to different teams.

Negotiation

– Navigate conflicts, reach agreements, and find win‑win solutions.

Risk Management – Monitor timelines and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Education Bachelor’s degree
