Responsibilities
Supervise students.
Work with students individually or in group settings under the direction of professional staff.
Consistently monitor student learning and behaviors.
Be available to meet any student needs, including health, toileting, behavior, and self‑help skills.
Attend district workshops and trainings to continue learning about Early Childhood Education.
Other duties as assigned.
Classification Teacher Associates
Three hours per day – four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Pay: $16.10/hr
Employment Date ASAP
Qualifications Must have at least 12 credit hours in early childhood education, a current CDA credential, or two years post‑secondary education or Paraeducator certificate.
Required to obtain pediatric first aid and CPR.
Willingness to assume responsibility.
Ability to work well with others.
Flexibility in working with classroom teachers.
Ability to work independently.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Enjoy working with preschool‑age children.
Ability to effectively supervise students while maintaining a positive relationship with them.

Physical Demands
Stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects; talk and hear.
Squat, stoop or kneel, reach above the head and forward 0 to 24 inches and on occasion up to 36 inches.
Bend or twist at the neck/trunk more than average person.
Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs at 0-12 feet, occasionally up to 20 feet.
Push/pull items such as tables and carts.
Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment
Quiet noise level; works indoors and outdoors supervising students.
Work often in different areas of the classroom including desks, floor, standing, in movement while supervising indoor and outdoor activities.
Temperature usually indoor but occasionally outdoors.
