Overview
Operations Manager (OM)
is essential to the success of the company, overseeing the execution of projects and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. This role focuses on managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The OM drives efficiency, supports financial performance through disciplined job costing and project management, and leads field and administrative teams to deliver outstanding service. This onsite role requires a strong presence across field teams, job coordination, and office operations. Base pay range is provided for context. Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily field operations, including job scheduling, compliance, materials procurement, and equipment readiness Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards Improve processes for job tracking, documentation, and reporting using restoration software (e.g., Xactimate, Dash) Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, OSHA regulations, and insurance carrier requirements
Financial & Job Costing Support
Support profitability by monitoring job costing, labor efficiency, and material usage Collaborate with leadership to provide accurate project reporting and assist in financial reviews Ensure timely documentation, invoicing, and coordination with accounting teams
Team Management
Supervise, coach, and hold accountable field and operations staff, including project managers, mitigation teams, and administrative support Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing operations team members
Sales & Client Support
Work closely with the sales team to support client needs and ensure smooth handoff from sales to operations Maintain strong relationships with property managers, adjusters, and clients by ensuring jobs are executed effectively and communication remains clear Provide operational input to support sales efforts and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of operations or project management experience in restoration, construction, or property services Strong understanding of mitigation, remediation, and reconstruction workflows Experience with job costing, scheduling, and compliance in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and people management skills Proficiency in Xactimate and restoration industry software preferred IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.) are a plus
