Purpose The Category Manager, Commercial (Patient Services) leads the implementation of category procurement strategy, developed with Category Directors and VP-level stakeholders. This role oversees the end-to-end procurement process, manages a team of Specialists to ensure excellence and policy compliance, and helps leadership identify workforce planning needs. Responsibilities

Partner with Director/VP-level stakeholders to develop category-specific procurement strategies and contribute to an annual strategic plan aligned with business goals. Relay insights and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making; stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics. Manage strategic value drivers with key suppliers to achieve cost savings, optimize processes, and enhance procurement value. Monitor supplier performance on sustainability and ESG measures and promote responsible sourcing practices. Enable Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies and drive innovative solutions to meet long-term business needs. Implement mitigation strategies to manage procurement risk and ensure policy compliance. Ensure effective project management across cross-functional teams to deliver category-related projects. Identify process optimization opportunities and use data analytics to support continuous improvement. Support end-to-end procurement activities from sourcing to negotiation and contract execution, including analysis and preparation for decisive actions. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field. Experience managing procurement teams and leading supplier relationships. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry preferred. Specialized expertise in category management, market analysis, and cost/financial assessment. Ability to assist in negotiation and bidding; experience with complex project management and change management. Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across a matrixed organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a problem-solving mindset and autonomous work ethic. Additional Information

The compensation range is the base pay range for this role; actual pay depends on location and other factors. The range may be modified in the future. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees. This job is eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs.
