Overview At Raytheon the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Effectors team within the Hardware Discipline Directorate develops production and engineering test solutions for all Raytheon products. The Test Equipment Engineering Directorate – Subsystem Assembly Department seeks a Senior Manager, Systems Engineer to lead a section of Project Leadership/PMX professionals and Technical Leads responsible for executing and managing projects through all lifecycles including development, transition to production, design verification, qualification, and manufacturing acceptance of final products going to the customer.
Location AZ808: RMS AP Bldg 808 1151 East Hermans Road Building 808, Tucson, AZ, 85756 USA Onsite role
Security Clearance U.S. citizenship required. Active DoD Secret clearance required prior to start date.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of approximately 12-185 section members.
Establish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with the team to ensure alignment with the department and center.
Conduct formal and informal performance reviews and career development discussions.
Lead by example, adhere to, and ensure alignment with Raytheon Values and Behaviors.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
Provide independent health checks by evaluating program metrics.
Interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Cross Product Team (CPT)/Directorate Leads, and other functional management to drive results.
Support Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals and lead onboarding of new section personnel.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience as an IPTL, sub-IPTL, CAM, REA or a Project Team Lead.
Experience in a technical leadership role.
Working understanding of the Test Equipment Engineering One Page Process.
Qualifications We Prefer
Previous experience with career development and personal skill development of team members.
Experience with Program configuration management principles and tools such as an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), PMX tools, or tracking books.
Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System or similar budget tracking system).
Experience with our Proposal Capture Process (development of compliant Basis of Estimates, and White Sheet Development).
Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

Benefits and Compensation The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $250,000 USD.
