Lead electrical maintenance, make modifications, and execute the preventive maintenance program for the facility. Repair and maintain all facility electrical wiring and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and building codes using appropriate hand and electrician\'s tools. Install and repair electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment; maintain major equipment such as motors, generators, and electrical control systems. Test defective equipment to determine causes of malfunction using standard electrical test equipment. Inspect circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding; repair or rewire plant equipment systems per state codes and safety regulations. Plan layouts of new wiring installations; inspect all equipment on a regular basis and support preventive maintenance programs. Maintain solid state boiler control systems, electrical switchgear, and electric motors; adjust, calibrate, and repair electrical-pneumatic control systems; report and log findings. Keep records and files to support maintenance activities. What you will need
Four (4) or more years of experience in operating water/wastewater treatment plants or a similar setting; experience leading teams and assigning work. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience entering data into a maintenance management system. Proficient in plant SCADA systems and software. Valid driver’s license with no major infractions. Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of engines, pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment; general maintenance practices; safety procedures; and basic wastewater analysis concepts; supervisory knowledge. Ability to operate plant PLCs and SCADA systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems. Working conditions & physical requirements
