Support mechanical and electronics manufacturing including SMT and soldering of PCBA's and assembly integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing. Perform program quality planning, analyze program QA requirements, develop inspection/test procedures and review process plans, finalize source inspection checklist, coordinate review nonconformance documentation and support root cause/corrective action. Review AS9102 FAI documentation, work with DCMA and other government quality assurance agencies. Collection and reporting of Quality Metrics, review and approve new drawings, support project managers during design and manufacturing readiness reviews, PDR, CDR, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and conduct supplier surveillance audits. Basis Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control. Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001. Experience working with non-conforming material, performing failure analysis, identifying root cause and implementing corrective action. Experience writing procedures, reviewing work instructions for accuracy and completeness and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100. Ability to review and interpret contract quality clauses and technical data and develop and document appropriate quality verification procedures, plans, and work instructions, including AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a team environment. Capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Residency in North Alabama or willingness to relocate to the area. Ability to obtain/maintain a final secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook). Knowledge of Systems Engineering. Experience with Assembly integration and Testing.
