Electronics Technician 1
to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
business unit. You will be part of a team designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities
Execute technical tasks within field operations, including on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Ensure the functionality and reliability of various technologies. Key duties include conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems, and providing technical support. Strong problem-solving, technical proficiency, and effective communication are essential. Follow project safety plans and policies. Analyze and interpret project drawings for constructability and accuracy. Track, inventory, and inspect tools regularly. Maintain safety and cleanliness on site. Participate in safety and project meetings, ensuring compliance. Assist in PITCO plan creation, testing, and quality verification. Install raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and hardware, ensuring proper grounding and NEC standards compliance. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices and network equipment. Rack and stack head-end equipment, perform cable terminations. Communicate effectively with project teams and clients. Collaborate with colleagues, providing and receiving feedback positively. Prioritize tasks and embody company values. Maintain quality standards for installations and testing. Mentor and train junior team members. Document daily work activities using Infralink and other tools. Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required, subject to security investigation. Education:
HS diploma or GED; military electronics training (minimum 720 hours). Experience:
2+ years in electronics installation and maintenance; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Skills:
Strong oral, written, presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications
Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and experience with systems like Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, BVMS, AIphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows OS. Graduation from an electrical apprenticeship program. Additional 3 years of electronics experience. Proficiency in MS Office. Time management and teamwork skills. What We Offer
