Overview

Data Center Team Lead focused on GPU cluster deployments within MT Pleasant, WI. The role requires leading a team in data center operations, project coordination, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted network services and server availability. Hybrid responsibilities include hands-on server and GPU work, as well as team leadership and project management duties. Responsibilities

Perform tasks listed under Level 1 and Level 2 as needed. Move servers and switches to required destinations for installation. Inspect servers and switches to ensure they are not damaged. Install servers and switches and cable them according to provided wire maps. Ensure all cables are bundled neatly and in accordance with standards. Coordinate with network admins to verify correct cabling and active connections. Install additional components needed (NIC, Drive, Memory). Assist in unboxing and prepping servers as needed. Audit servers and consumables. Troubleshoot a variety of servers and isolate the problem the server is encountering. Order replacement parts, install them in servers, and return defective parts to vendors. Update firmware on servers to the latest version. Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers. Assist network admins with issues related to servers, including cabling, replacements, and upgrades. Temporarily rack and stack servers or switches to enable remote configuration by network admins. Deploy and configure GPUs in servers, ensuring proper installation and functionality. Perform break-fix tasks to troubleshoot and replace faulty components. Provide advanced troubleshooting support and resolution of tickets. Serve as the initial contact/liaison between team members and management. Prioritize and manage workload across the team. Review build documentation before projects and validate questions or concerns. Direct build activities related to data center operations. Act as an escalation point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 teams. Designate predetermined training paths in line with company standards. Ensure projects are aligned with data center standards. Plan and coordinate activities with other teams for project builds and escalations. Lead and mentor deployment and operational teams. Provide thought leadership to aid growth across the program. Manage multiple simultaneous projects with a high degree of stress within the work environment. Monitor project deadlines and provide status updates to project managers. Ensure compliance with safety measures and data center standards. Provide GPU deployment and troubleshooting support as part of the GPU-focused workload. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds when necessary. Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary. Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly when necessary. Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods without loss or reduction of productivity. Proven experience as a technical lead with the ability for people supervision. Project management experience. 4 plus years of experience in a hyperscale environment. Skills & Qualifications

Data center, deployment, fiber optic cable, cable, rack and stack, cabling, troubleshooting GPUs deployment and troubleshooting Familiarity with ITIL framework, ticketing systems, and network fundamentals Certifications or equivalent experience in CompTIA A+/Server+, CCNA, MCP/MSCE preferred Onsite Location & Schedule

Onsite in Mt. Pleasant, WI. Focused on GPU cluster deployments within Milwaukee area (Mt Pleasant, WI) with a 3x4x12 schedule across 4 core MSFT shifts (A/B/Days/Nights). Compensation & Benefits
