Construction Foreman

plays a pivotal role within the construction sector, functioning as a key leader on building commercial and residential sites. They are primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within the allocated timeframes and budgets. As the bridge between construction workers and project managers, a Construction Foreman ensures that the team adheres to building codes, plans, and safety regulations, while maintaining the high standards expected within the industry. Your Impact

As a Foreman, you will supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they perform tasks correctly and promptly. You will plan daily work schedules, project tasks, and resource allocation to ensure project timelines are met. You will be reviewing construction plans and specifications to maintain accuracy and quality of the work performed. You will conduct regular site inspections to enforce adherence to safety and building regulations. The following tasks will ensure your success within the role: Training new team members in operational protocols and safety procedures. Communicating effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders about progress and any issues on site. Problem‑solving on‑site issues and making quick decisions to prevent project delays. Maintaining detailed records of construction processes, worker attendance, and project costs. Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Dependable, professional, and results driven. Ability to lead by example and maintain a safety‑first type of mindset. Essential Skills (MUST HAVE)

5+ years of hands‑on construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment. Experience in commercial, residential, or underground utility projects. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings. Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance. High school diploma or GED (Associate's or trade school a plus). OSHA 30 certification (or OSHA 10 minimum). Familiar with Bluebeam is required. Qualifications

Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and multiple crews. Comfortable with daily reporting, documentation, and communicating with project managers. Proficiency with jobsite software, mobile apps, or digital reporting tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, etc.). Ability to solve problems on the fly and maintain productivity under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Dependable, professional, and results driven. Ability to lead by example and maintain a safety‑first mindset. Other Physical Requirements

Besides lifting (when required), a Construction Foreman often oversees that the team follows safety protocols for the following: Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Climb ladders or scaffold while carrying materials. Work in all weather conditions. Stand or walk for extended periods. Lift and carry at least 50 pounds (22.7 kg) frequently. Benefits and Perks
