What You’ll Bring to The Team Florence is hiring for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our rapidly growing sales team. As a BDR, you will report to the BDR Manager and collaborate with Marketing and Sales to identify and guide prospects through the sales process. You will respond to inbound Marketing Qualified Leads and prospect target accounts to build your personal pipeline, calling on strategic Life Sciences organizations and collaborating with the sales team to convert them into qualified opportunities. Compensation is based on salary and incentives. As a Business Development Representative, you will Learn and demonstrate an understanding of Florence’s solutions and the problems they solve. Serve as a bridge between research, marketing and the sales team. Understand marketing campaign objectives and use them effectively for outreach. Educate and qualify prospects. Use judgement to invest in projects where the customer profile is a good fit. Educate prospects about our solutions. Engage in conversations to share information and gauge interest. Maintain a high level of engagement with prospects and move them toward a product demo. Document prospect/customer interactions in Salesforce.com. Learn, Earn and Grow. 1+ years proven track record of generating leads or related experience Desire and skill to target prospects with a methodical approach Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Ability to quickly learn a new industry Ability to educate and qualify prospects Willingness to learn, adapt, and refine your process Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience We’ll be extra excited if you have

Exposure to healthcare or life sciences Experience sourcing new leads via lists, websites, LinkedIn, etc. Experience qualifying and nurturing leads within SaaS/Technology Experience designing and executing prospect journeys to nurture leads Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRMs Some history of success in sales What’s in it for you?
