Responsibilities of the Property Accountant:
Reviewing and posting of A/P invoices
Month-end close of each entity - general ledger, financial statement preparation, support schedules for each balance sheet account
Bank reconciliations and preparing and posting journal entries
Accruals and balance sheet review
Compare and explain monthly variances to the budget as well as trending analysis
Qualifications of the Property Accountant:
Yardi experience is a plus.
Excellent work ethic, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
Construction or property management experience preferred.
Strong Excel skills with full understanding of accounting concepts
