Position Summary The IT Project Manager II is an experienced project manager responsible for managing moderately complex IT projects or supporting larger initiatives within the enterprise. Working closely with IT and business teams, the PM II translates project objectives into actionable plans, coordinates resources, tracks progress, and facilitates communication among stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with organizational standards.
Responsibilities
Lead small to medium‑scale IT projects, typically within 1–2 business units or functional areas.
Support cross‑functional project teams by coordinating tasks, tracking deliverables, and maintaining schedules.
Assist in developing and updating project plans and budgets; monitor actuals and report deviations.
Organize and facilitate project meetings, document action items, and follow up on progress.
Ensure project objectives are clearly documented and delivered to meet stakeholder needs.
Support the integration of vendor tasks and review vendor deliverables as assigned.
Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Identify and elevate project risks and unresolved issues to senior project managers or leadership.
Serve as a point of contact for assigned projects between IT, business sponsors, and vendors.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Procurement to support project alignment with budgets and agreements.
Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement activities within the PMO framework.
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in a business or related discipline preferred
Minimum Experience
4 years of progressive IT project management experience in enterprise environments
Experience managing departmental or business unit‑level projects with moderate budgets
Familiarity with IT governance, vendor management, and financial tracking
Preferred Experience
4+ years leading IT projects or initiatives
Experience supporting project portfolios and managing budgets
Experience working with cross‑functional teams
2+ years’ experience in the retail industry preferred
Licenses/Certifications
PMP or CAPM certification preferred or willingness to attain
Six Sigma certification a plus
