Program Director @ Camp Rosenbaum | Fundraising, Budgeting, Management Camp Rosenbaum Fund is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Events & Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The Camp Rosenbaum Fund is a community‑building nonprofit whose mission is to provide life‑enhancing opportunities for youth from low‑income families through mentoring, camp, and athletic programs. Our programs are designed to instill good character traits, hope, and a sense that anything is possible with education, hard work, and good choices. This role plays a key part in advancing our mission and supporting both fundraising and youth events.

15‑18 hours per week (hours vary depending on events)

$25‑$30 per hour DOE (depending on experience)

Summary of Duties:

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Events & Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and support of Camp Rosenbaum’s fundraising and sponsored events, including Taste of Camp, Tea Party, and VIG/Donor events. The role involves hands‑on event planning and execution, managing event committees and volunteers, building corporate and donor relationships, and securing monetary and in‑kind support.

This position also provides support to the Rosenbaum PPB Youth Camp by helping recruit coaches, assisting with preparation and camp‑week duties, coordinating snacks and supplies, supporting attendance and camper needs, and collaborating with volunteers and partner agencies to ensure successful camp operations alongside the Program Director.

Essential Functions:

Plan, organize, and coordinate all of Camp Rosenbaum's fundraising and community events

Solicit sponsorships, monetary donations, and in‑kind contributions to meet annual fundraising goals

Develop, coordinate, and implement the annual fundraising plan in collaboration with the Program Director and Board of Directors

Build and maintain relationships with businesses, sponsors, and community partners

Direct event timelines and coordinate staff and volunteers to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery

Manage event budgets by tracking revenue, expenses, and time spent per event

Manage venue and vendor relationships and oversee logistical planning for all fundraising activities

Lead event marketing, advertising, and outreach to increase awareness and participation

Coordinate and support volunteer event planning committees; assist with post‑event reports and debriefings to improve future events

Maintain and update event software database, contact lists, and event communications

Actively recruit new sponsors, partners, and in‑kind donors; pick up local donations as needed

Attend Camp Rosenbaum’s overnight camp, day camp, and special events as assigned

Participate in monthly camp planning meetings and Board meetings as needed

Assist with coach and volunteer recruitment

Support pre‑camp logistics and planning

Provide on‑site support during camp week, including snacks/food, attendance, supplies, and camper needs as needed

Coordinate with law enforcement, schools, and community partners

Assist in executing camp operations to ensure a safe, positive camper experience

Qualifications and Education:

Degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Minimum two years’ experience in sales, corporate development, event coordination, fundraising, or equivalent nonprofit experience

Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to learn and use event and donor databases and systems

Valid Oregon or Washington driver's license
